    Hi Hannah,

I wondered if I could chat to you about teaching at a IF Summer School I’m running at the British Library next July – do send me an email if you’re interested. Best, Rob

Hi Hannah, not sure about any other way to contact you directly but I just wanted to say that I just played through/read through Creme de la Creme choice of games book and I really liked it a lot. I really enjoyed your style of writing and I especially loved the worldbuilding you did. This was one of the most interesting stories world-building wise and in terms of characters and how they fill in your world and make it feel real but also whimsical in a way. Felt kind of Harry Potterish but more aristocraty lol. Thanks for the story, and I hope you write more choice books in the future.

Hi there, thank you so much for getting in touch and I’m over the moon that you enjoyed Crème de la Crème! Getting such a nice message has added extra sparkle to my holidays. I hope you have a lovely new year!

    Hello Hannah,
    Nice to meet you.

First of all, I want to greet you for all the recent releases 🙂

Second, I would like to ask if there is a chance you will ever come back to Baldur’s gate modding. You know, we miss you 😉

Hello! Thank you for the congratulations, and ah gosh, I do have so much love for the Baldur’s Gate modding scene. A few years ago I even made a Valygar romance for fun, and nearly finished it! I don’t know if I have the time these days – between work and family life there isn’t a lot of space for it. But do please know that I feel so fond of mods and the whole community, and have awesome memories of it ❤️

    Hello Hannah!

I’ve recently finished reading crème de la crème for the third time, and I am beyond amazed at how amazing it is. The setting, the plot, and especially the characters really set this book apart from the rest for me. I absolutely adore your characters. I want Gonzalez to be my best friend IRL. Delacroix is so interesting, I feel like I could talk to him for ages. And I’m pretty sure Prince Rosario is my soulmate lol. I also really appreciate the option to be lgbt+. That’s pretty much a dealbreaker for me with other books like this and it really made my experience so much more immersive. Also, just the LGBT+ representation was really well done. It was nice to see gay couples being portrayed as normally as any other couple.

I’m pretty sure I’m gonna end up playing this book until I have played every choice at least twice lol. Thank you for making such a lovely piece of literature, and I hope you continue to write again for the crème de la crème crew some day.

Thank you for reading this if you took time out of your day to do so! Just wanted to tell you how much I liked the book! 🙂

Hey Cameron! Thank you so much, and for taking time out of your day to get in touch. It’s absolutely wonderful that you enjoyed Crème de la Crème so much, and that you loved the characters! It means a ton that the LGBT+ representation worked for you as it’s something that’s very close to my heart.

    Thank you again!

What have you done, I can’t stop playing Crème de la Crème you monster. It’s seriously been like 8 playthroughs that I’ve completed, I’ve bought two other IFs that I’ve started, but I just cannot let this go. The little touches you’ve added to all the characters makes it so addictively immersive. And the plot! I can’t believe how well-rounded it is. My choices feel like they matter and the flow of the story kept it from ever feeling like something I can come back to later, as opposed to needing to know what happens next asap.

So I want to equally cry my thanks to you and throw these hands at you, because no matter what else I start reading, my heart screams that MY POOR EMIL STILL NEEDS SAVING, THE HOLY MAX/MC/DELACROIX TRINITY IS WAITING, ROSARIO WANTS HIS PRINCE, etc etc. I also wholly agree with the previous person who posted, the LGBT+ representation is fire. Whether I’m playing him/her/they and romancing him/her/they, Crème de la Crème feels so organic and natural. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me play something that feels comfortable in my own background. Blood Money is next on my list and I would love to support any other IFs you release in the future.

Now if you’ll excuse me, Emil needs me to save and marry him for the hundredth time.

Ahhh thank you a ton for your lovely comment! I’m absolutely delighted that you’re having so much fun (and that the fun is so monstrous!) and that the LGBT+ rep worked for you – Choice of Games were some of the first games I played where I could play a non straight person and that was so important to me. So it’s awesome to be able to contribute to that. Hope you have a good day and carry on having fun with Emil!

    Hello Hannah!

I have to say that Crème was incredible to the point where I’d love to adapt it to be a student film. Would this be alright, and if so, would you want a hand in dictating the details?

    Thank you truly,
    Alexa

Hello, thank you for getting in touch and I’m so glad you enjoyed it! The legal elements are out of my experience so it’s probably best if you check with the game publishers, Choice of Games on support(at)choiceofgames(dot)com. Thank you again for asking!

Hi Hannah, I’ve recently gotten into Choice of Games and found Creme de la creme as it was one of the bestsellers and I absolutely loved it, especially in quarentine! I loved the setting and characters and I was wondering if you are making another game like it? I would ask if you were making a follow up to creme de la creme but as there’s multiple endings I don’t think that could really work haha. Hope this reaches you well, thanks for your time!

Hello, I’m so glad you enjoyed it and thank you for getting in touch! I’m working on another Choice of Games game at the moment and it’s in the very early stages. Keep an eye out on the Choice of Games forums – in time I will put up an excerpt!

    Hannah,

I’m just starting Nobelesse Oblige and I’m already all-in. You’re one of my favourite CoG authors. Thank you so much for continuing to write and make these games.

    Hi Hannah,
I have read Crème de la Crème three times and I really enjoy it. Could you please tell me if you are interested in publishing a Chinese version? I’m a native speaker of Chinese and willing to translate it gratis or with low pay.
Thank you again for your brilliant work,
    Federica

Just here to let you know how much I enjoy your work. I really liked creme de la creme and noblesse oblige… but royal affairs is art on another level. it’s difficult to articulate this experience, but the reason I think this work might be outright brilliant is that I always felt like I had the option to make a choice that I really wanted to make — not just choices that I “had to make” to get the ending that I thought I wanted– and those *real* choices slowly revealed a path that wasn’t what I originally thought I wanted, and following that path gave me a feeling of real emotional fulfillment at the end. that feeling was a lot deeper than the fleeting catharsis you get at the end of a satisfying book or movie about other characters — it’s like a reminder from the universe that you should always try to be the better version of yourself, and that the reward can be beyond anything you’re hoping for when you’re otherwise so lost that some days you’re just fighting to survive. it will be difficult for me to “play” through again and make different choices because my first experience was SO absolute and True for me; but I do look forward to trying, because I appreciate your talent enough to want to experience the full breadth of it! ::hug::

    • Hannah says:

Oh gosh, that’s so lovely to hear, thank you! I’m absolutely over the moon that you enjoyed it so much and I so appreciate you getting in touch to let me know!

    Hi Hannah,
I just wanted to say that I love every one of your works on CoG, your writing and characters just keep getting better and better with every game. Here’s to hoping you will make many more games. You’re definitely one of my favourite authors on CoG.
    All the best.
